Not everything in life is happy. Sometimes, you drift away from people you were once close to, especially when situations become difficult and you find yourself at odds with those people. Depression is real, anxiety is real, loss is real, and sometimes you wonder if the hurt and pain from having differences with people you love will ever go away. This song is an apology. This song is encouragement to endure difficult times and remember that other people are trying their best too. We all can put on a happy face and pretend that things are ok.
